By coupling the activities of the research unit with skills in data management and statistics, the service provides answers to the questions that investigators ask themselves via research protocols.
METHODOLOGICAL RESEARCH
By proposing new statistical methods or improving others, the service contributes to the effort for better patient care and improved public health in general.
Teaching
By offering high-level teaching, the service participates in the transmission of knowledge and trains the researchers of tomorrow, while fueling enthusiasm for statistics applied to health issues.
MEDICAL INFORMATION
The mission of the Department of Medical Information is the production, quality and analysis of the data of the Program for the Medicalization of Information Systems (PMSI), with a view to financing medical activity and supporting the medical strategy of institutions, while respecting the confidentiality of hospital data.
